buddy of mine has got a little mud pit on his place,i just run the valves and set timing and played with the the carb.he run his truck thru the pit and i run mine thru, almost didnt get out .another broken front axle stub and the back diff quit pullin.i guess i tore up a detroit locker.this motor is not hot.dead stock idle.all ive got is a single plane intake and 600 vac sec holley. i was planning to pump it up a bunch but now im thinkin one ton parts are needed first.this is the heavy 3/4 full floater and big hubs front.i know someone will tell me im playin too hard(like my wife) but their are guys with a pile more motor and not havein near this much trouble. just needed to vent ill pull the cover and see how bad it is monday:SaiyanSmilie_anim:

Sorry you broke your toy. Is breaking drive line parts a regular thing with this truck or every now and then. Is this truck something you built or did you buy it already modified. And just between us how hard are you stomping on it. Let us know what kind of damage you find. Good luck.

I never had near that much trouble. I was running a 12 bolt and Dana44 in the front.

blew up the spiders. ring is fine.case is usable. some parts are junk. may try lincoln lockin.the only thing i can figure is the rear blew and before i got it shut down the front was just out of the hole and the front grabbed hard, the front is lincoln locked.got home on the left front only.may opt for a spool.this is a gm 14 bolt and i heard this was one tough rear but i broke it.:dontknow:and this isnt a detroit locker just an old p trac.school of hard knocks sucks
