Ok, I can get a entire rear end from a mid to late 90's Caprice from the local bone yard for $150. It has rear disks. I have read that you can use the rear rotors on a 12 bolt, but can the entire Caprice rear disk set up be used on a truck 12 bolt? Will the backing plates bolt to the truck rear end? The Caprice is kinda buried in the dirt so I really can't get any measurments that would be any good to find out. Plus $$$ is real tight right now, so I don't wanna end up with a $150 boat anchor sitting in my garage. :( Does any one have any input on this situation? Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

hmmm, I cant see any real problems, I mean, if the rotors fit, there are only 4 bolts that hold the backing plate in place, evn if the backing plate doesn't fit it couldnt be too hard to modify it could it? and for clearance issues there is butt lodes of room in the back of a chevy truck, and Caprices came with truck style ralley wheels, so I cant see a wheel fitment problem either, although I could be wrong at the same time
